NEW Piano Pieces (Out Now) . I have just completed work on composing 24 preludes for piano. I have not written anything for two years so it’s been nice being back in the study composing. They are now published you can buy them from Kirklees Music (01484 722855) & all good music shops. To watch videos of me playing the preludes click here

Since returning from my jet setting around in the summer I have been playing melodica very seriously. I may even record an album on this wicked little instrument. Check out myspace track new version of Manhattan to hear me playing it. click here + some Bill Evans Tunes too.

I am still on with composing my symphony although it has slowed down some what. I have written and orchestrated the first movement and started work on the 2nd part, more on that when it’s finished, if I finish it! I am back on with it now (Easter 2008)

BBC award winner Simon King has released his new album, Red Centre. I feature on the track Beyond Tranquility. Whilst in the studio preparing to record we decided to play freely, without any preconceived ideas or music. The result is a track of over 15 minutes long, which was completely improvised. The rest of the album features Simon’s octet in fine form. You can buy this album on his website. We are recording an new album together in April 2007.
